Yenişehir Belediyesi BİLSEM in Sweden!

Under the guidance of our lead teacher Hikmet Tutaysalgır, we are taking part in the “Be Green Youth Exchange” project in Kopparberg, Sweden, within the scope of our Erasmus+ Accreditation! 🌿

🗓️ From 7–14 August 2026, our young participants are learning, sharing, and promoting our culture in this wonderful project hosted by Awesome People. So, what are we doing?

♻️ We are participating in workshops on sustainability, waste sorting, carbon emissions, and climate change.

🤝 Through the Örebro City Game, we are exploring the city and strengthening our connections with teams from Sweden, Romania, and Spain.

☕ During traditional Swedish “Fika” breaks, we are making new friends and enjoying intercultural exchange.

🇹🇷 And we organised a wonderful “Traditional Turkish Night”! We introduced our country, served our new friends traditional Turkish coffee , and happily shared our henna night tradition with them.
